(These apply to forums and all user reviews- due to the differing nature of each it is up to the staff on each to interpret these guidelines to the best of their ability. These rules are not enforced to the letter, but to the spirit of what they are written for. Many things will be contextual.)

Basic Terms for Users
1. We reserve the right to change these rules at any time without any prior notice.

2. We reserve the right to deny service to anyone at any time for any reason. You do not have the right to be informed of the reason for removal.

3. When using these boards please do not harass any other member in any way shape or form including [but not limited to]; threats, unwanted contact, abusive, bigoted, hateful, or racially offensive statements. Please do not post or transmit any sexually explicit images, unauthorized advertisements or promotions, chain letters, copyrighted material, or any other form of illegal material on these forums. And finally please do not attempt to impersonate or defraud any member of the Swordmetal.com development team or their volunteers.

4. Do not disparage any religion, race, nation, gender, age group, group of persons, or sexual orientation in any way shape or form.

5. Do not solicit or publicly post any other members' passwords and/or private information.

6. Do not post any form of worm, virus, or Trojan, or links to any form of worm, virus, or Trojan.

7. Threats of physical harm, harassment of any forum member, and offering or solicitation of material that might be deemed illegal which includes but is not limited to illegal drugs, pirated software, and child pornography will not be tolerated and may result in the notification of the proper legal authorities.

8. Do not insult, impersonate, or "flame" any other user, dehis data may be forfeited to the proper law enforcement authorities.

9. By using the Swordmetal forums you agree to fully abide by the aforementioned rules and regulations. Any ambiguity or vagueness of these guidelines and policies will be interpreted by the staff to the best of their ability. You accept the fact that these rules will be enforced 'in the spirit of', and not to the letter.

10. If a thread has not had a new post in over 3 months, do not bring it back. Start a new one if you must.
