I'm still having trouble putting music to it. I don't know if I should drag it out like the Sword does or speed it up for Amon Amarth or make it Dragon Force fast. If anyone comes up with some good sounding music to it, I will be eternally grateful.

Yeah i should add its probably more subtle and awesome than a lot of dragonforce's lyrics! At least they arent so horribly repetative and cheesy.
Dont get me wrong though, DF are my all tlme favourite band ever!
But yeah if you compare maiden's lyrics to the 'forces you can see theyre bith very sword but maidens are more awesome and subtle. Not blatantly cheesy.

Yup. D-Force's music tends to mention the words fire,flames,fields,cold,dark,winter,skies,and something about treason yet having no relation to the actual song. I believe their lyrics made more sense on Valley of the Damned. I really expect better from someone who was in Bal-Sagoth. Anyways, I try to do something different. This is the conan song for my band. Next up is the Snake Pliskin meets Mad Max at a party thrown by the Terminator and Voivod buys the beer and Kreator along with Celtic Frost brings the pizza.

Sounds most hugely amazing. I must hear some of your material when it's finished one day...

Does Dave contribute to the lyrics at all? I didn't think he did, but I could be wrong...

Also, I think Bal-Sagoth's a bit too much at times. I love the instrumental side, but unless I'm in the mood for epic tales, I find it really hard to get past the millions of monologues. It's kinda got the Gods of War effect. Then again... I've only got Starfire Burning Upon the Ice-Veiled Throne of Ultima Thule... are the later [/debut] album[s] an easier listen?
